IDEMIA has clinched a 10-year blanket purchase agreement, worth $194.5 million, to contribute their services in ID proofing to the Login.Gov system. This agreement cements IDEMIA’s good private and public client base that trust their accelerated mobile ID issuance technology and verification solutions, as the backbone of many applications rolled out in New York, Arizona, Delaware, and more states.
IDEMIA’s contract is among eight elite tech providers selected by the General Services Administration tasked with accelerating integration of ID proofing technologies with the platform. They were rigorously assessed to meet the criteria for ensuring individuals’ authenticity and preventing identity fraud, aims that have underpinned IDEMIA for 60 years of government projects.
IDEMIA’s solutions integrate advanced document authentication methods, including digital tampering detection, document identification, and liveness detection. Their technology meets the highest security standards and certification by the Kantara Initiative to be compliant with NIST SP 800-63 rev. 3 at Identity Assurance Level 2 (IAL2).
The person in front of the camera can be identified and verified using both active and passive facial liveness technology in IDEMIA’s portfolio, which achieve Level 1 and Level 2 compliance certifications from iBeta.
It conforms to ISO/IEC 30107-3 standards and recently, the Department of Homeland Security Science and Technology Department.
“We look forward to serving GSA as a committed technology partner, supporting their digital transformation efforts to improve identity verification and customer experience of Login.gov, which is accessed by millions of users.” said Donnie Scott, CEO of IDEMIA Public Security North America.
